company currently seeking to fill the positions of Loss Mitigation
Specialist and Senior Loss Mitigation Specialist. We are an

Trust Title. Our Loss Mitigation division is hiring for immediate
openings in our Maitland, FL office.
Loss Mitigation Specialist
A typical day for the
successful applicant will include initiating phone
contact to resolve default of residential
construction loans, managing a portfolio of
non-performing assets, and counseling borrowers on
relief options and alternatives.
Additionally the Loss Mitigation Specialist
will research and analyze public records and title
searches, prepare comprehensive loan documents and
arrange for contractual property services.
The ideal candidates we are seeking will have
the following:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 4 years in construction lending, loss-mitigation or
title business.

Intermediate proficiency level in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Familiarity with construction loan procedures including
construction draw processes, inspections, and mechanics lien
laws.

Required to know and adhere to FDCPA / Privacy Act / state laws
as well as other bank policies and investor requirements
regarding collection practices.

Experience analyzing financial statements, tax returns, credit
reports, home appraisals, title searches and other documents.

Knowledge in reviewing and interpreting credit bureau reporting,
settlement statements, title policies and real estate listing
and purchase agreements.
Excellent verbal and written communication
skills are essential along with strong analytical and customer
service abilities. The
successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and
have a strong attention to detail.
The position does require flexibility with work schedules as
overtime and staggered hours are a possibility.

Senior Loss Mitigation Specialist
A typical day for the
successful applicant will include initiating phone
contact to resolve default of residential
construction loans, managing a portfolio of
non-performing assets, and counseling borrowers on
relief options and alternatives.
Additionally the Senior Loss Mitigation
Specialist will research and analyze public records
and title searches, prepare comprehensive loan
documents and arrange for contractual property
services.
The ideal candidates we are seeking will have
the following:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is
required however a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Eight years experience in construction
lending, loss-mitigation or title business.
- Strong proficiency level in Microsoft Word
and Excel.
- Demonstrated experience dealing with
difficult borrowers in highly adversarial situations.
- Detailed and comprehensive understanding of
default servicing practices, foreclosure, bankruptcy and REO.
- Familiarity with construction loan procedures
including construction draw processes, inspections, and
mechanics lien laws.
- Required to know and adhere to FDCPA /
Privacy Act / state laws as well as other bank policies and
investor requirements regarding collection practices.
- Experience analyzing financial statements,
tax returns, credit reports, home appraisals, title searches and
other documents.
- Knowledge in reviewing and interpreting
credit bureau reporting, settlement statements, title policies
and real estate listing and purchase agreements.
- Informally coach less experienced team
members and assist with more difficult and complex workout
scenarios.
